Tanek reimagined an aging shopping center with a comprehensive renovation that included a full exterior facelift and an 8,500 SF addition for Arc’s Value Village. The outdated mansard-style façade and covered walkway were removed to create a cleaner, more modern look, while a new front row of parking was added to improve customer convenience. The refreshed façade features a mix of composite metal panels, corrugated metal, and cement board siding, enhanced by sconce lighting and updated tenant signage that highlights neutral piers for visual cohesion. Recognized for its impactful transformation, the project received the 2014 MSCA STARR Award for Renovation/Remodel of Exterior Retail over 20,000 SF.
